I am the last sane man in an insane world.
Name: Kaori Tsukuda
Age: 15
Gender: Female
School Year: First
Class: 1-3
Appearance: Kaori has short brown hair, to about the nape of her neck, with two longer chunks in front of her ears. Her eyes are greenish blue and rather big. She is very skinny, because the medicines she takes make her nauseous. She is very short for her age, at about 4' 6". She loves to wear clogs and has a deep fondness for colorful socks and stockings. When she's out of school, she loves to wear patterned, bright dresses, as they make her feel happy.
Personality Most of the time, she acts like a petulant little child. When she doesn't get what she wants, she bangs her hands on something or yells. She also used to bite, but for the most part, she has grown out of that habit. She is slightly clingy, and if you're nice to her and love her, she will be your friend for eternity. She likes to be cuddled and held, and when inclined to, she will fall asleep in her friends' arms. She is very sensitive to other people's emotions, and gets uncomfortable easily. She likes to read, especially long novels and fairy tales. Kaori also enjoys going to art museums and movies, even though she can't hear them. She doesn't like being around too many other people and doesn't like it when somebody isn't paying attention to her. If this happens though, she is easily soothed by sitting somebody next to her that she likes.
History: She was born into a rich family and was born with severe epilepsy. When she was very young, she had a terrible seizure that caused her to go deaf. Instead of helping her themselves, her parents hired a set of nurses, nannies and doctors to take care of her every whim. She grew apart from her parents and grew very close to her nanny and her tutor, Mai and Jiro, respectively. Since she was coddled so much, it created all sorts of problems with her personality and how she interacts with people. Her parents sent her to this school to make her grow up, and she was against it the whole way.
Role Play Sample: The tantrum hadn't worked. She had made quite the fuss, too, but Jiro still picked her up and sat her down in her seat on the train, next to Mai, and gave her a kiss goodbye on her forehead. She had even beat her head against the window, but Mai switched seats with her and patted her hair until she calmed down, hiccuping as she started to cry quietly with her head on Mai's lap.
Didn't they love her?
Why would they do such a horrible thing? Kaori had always assumed that they would take care of her forever and ever. It had never crossed her mind that they would abandon her like this.
The train lurched forward and started to speed up, and Kaori let out a loud sob. This must be the end of life as she knew it. She just hoped that this new part of her life wouldn't be so bad.
